Eternally Grateful

You, my love have taught me so much in such a small amount of time. You've taught me patience, you've taught me how to love more than I ever thought I could, you've taught me strength...you have taught me one of life's greatest lessons and that's being your Mom.

I would do anything for you; bear any pain for you, go above & beyond to bring you joy; anything. You love me without expecting anything but love in return. Your innocence has taught me how to be a better person. 

Son, it's hard to put into words what you have done for me. 

You gave me the greatest gift the day I became your Mama.

 I don't think there is anything more powerful than the love a mother feels for her children. That kind of love moves mountains. 

On this day, a year ago you and I were still one. I hadn't yet seen that sweet face or heard that precious cry...I was still waiting in wonder of who you were. I was still waiting for you to call me, Mama. I was scared. I was nervous. I knew the best was yet to come and I was right. 

The moment I saw you, the moment I held you, I knew you were mine. ❤️ There was no mistaking the love I felt for you. I had been blessed. 

If I could tell you anything my love it's this: You are my greatest blessing and I thank God for giving me such a precious gift; you.
