THANKS be to God.

Phew...where do I start?! I feel like this year has just been a whirlwind. To think it all started with the exciting news that we were expecting our first baby and now it's almost coming to an end and he's here to enjoy his 1st Thanksgiving with us. I'll be forever grateful for our Maximilian. It's only been 3 short months but he has changed our lives forever in the most special way. 

My heart is so full of love. Thank you, Jesus! 

Now the start of a new year is quickly approaching and there will be many new things to welcome, like the start of a long career for me! I can't believe I'll finally get to put all of that education to use. I know my husband thinks it's "about time!" ;)

We recently took our first family portrait and Max stole the show with his little bow tie.

Maximilian's 1st Halloween

Such a little treat I have this year; my little papi Maximilian!!

He attended his 1st Halloween party the weekend before Halloween where he dressed up as Woody. His little buddy Slade & his wonderful mama, Becca hosted the event.

*sidenote: She is the best hostess & most creative party planner I've ever seen. All of her little creations are so cute!

Maximilian was voted "Cutest Costume" and won a gift card to Toys R Us! Haha. I'm going to take him soon to pick out a little toy of his choice. 

On the day of Halloween we decided to dress him up as Yoda! And of course I have to say he was the cutest little Yoda I have ever seen. My cousin crocheted the hat & booties and then I made the rest of the costume myself.

I am just so infatuated with my little man. I can't believe we are already about to experience all of his first holidays soon. I just love watching him grow and am so thankful for the people he has turned myself and my husband into. We are so much better because of him.
